It is an opportunity for regional decision-makers and officers working on regional health systems to learn what e-health is all about and how you can make it happen in your region.

Demand on our healthcare systems is on the rise, in light of demographic change, increased citizen mobility in Europe and the rising expectations of our patients. As our resources remain limited, now is the opportunity to develop new distancespanning services and technologies that will enhance quality and render the management and provision of our services more efficient and more accessible.

ALEC2010 offers peer to peer learning – you will hear from other European regions why you should work with e-health, how you can develop and implement e-health policies, what challenges you can expect to face and how e-health can contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of your services.
